This Too Shall Pass

Dear Thoene friends and family,

The Lord wakes me up in the middle of the night and I pray for you all, starting with my family.

I know many are afraid of what’s happening all around us.

Yet the Lord says, “I AM WITH YOU! Have courage! Don’t be afraid!”

I grew up hearing family stories about the drought and Dust Bowl and the Great Depression. The stories my grandparents and parents told around our table ALWAYS ended in spiritual VICTORY through faith in Jesus.

Though the winds blew away beautiful farms and seemed to destroy lives,

God used tragedy to bring victory. Read it all in Shiloh Autumn.

Keep the courage of our fathers in your sights! FEAR NOT!

This too shall pass!

Jesus promises He will come for us, either soon or late.

No matter what fierce winds blow;

no matter what fires rage around us;

WE ARE GOING TO MAKE IT THROUGH!

Say it!

“In Jesus’ Name and by the atoning sacrifice of His blood for my sins, and by His resurrection, I AM GOING TO HEAVEN! Devil you have no power to keep me down! “

Think of Heaven!

It is Better than the most beautiful place you have ever been!

It’s prepared for you and me.

I’m going to be there.

I am forgiven for my sins.

I forgive everyone who ever did me wrong.

Lord may they find you and be there too!

I love them all.

I’m going to hug everyone who won’t hug me on this earth.

This too shall pass.
