I understand something I did not understand before the departure of Pastor Ray Bentley.
He was given this scripture right before he left.
Isaiah 57:1-2
The Godly who are leaving this earth early are a sign that the Lord’s return is near.

What an “ah ha” scripture! I have pondered this thought often with the death of our 25 year old daughter. Her story still impacts people but she is not suffering. How many times have I read Isaiah and slip right past this ‘nugget’!
